Aye, aye, sir:
For the time being,
The Blog of HDT is not being updated daily.

"This may be a calendar of the ebbs and flows
of the soul; and on these sheets as a beach,
the waves may cast up pearls and seaweed."

What will it take to bring it back?
Thank you for continuing to update on a monthly basis. You have inspired me to re-read Thoreau. I am currently wading (weeding?) thru "Faith in a Seed".
Some of Thoreau's observations in this book can be tedious for me; but just when my head begins to nod, I harvest a fluff of wisdom such as this (pg. 68):
"Eating cherries is a bird-like employment, and unless we disperse the seeds occasionally, as they do, I shall think that the birds have the best right to them."
Daily was more fun, but thanks anyway for keeping the spirit alive.
Thoreau wrote in his journal until almost the day he died.
Why should you stop now?
